Scottish Government Guidelines now allow us to open up Studio 132 for backstage work, rehearsal and some workshops – providing we have appropriate management procedures in place to ensure the safety of visitors.
We will be opening from Thursday 10 September at specific times to allow set preparation for an upcoming film project to take place.
The safe operating procedures that we have put in place to allow this work to go ahead include:
Having a named person in place each time the building is open, to ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed
Limiting attendance to members and approved volunteers
Making hand sanitiser available at a number of points in the building
Ensuring that a safe physical distance of two metres is maintained between visitors at all times
Enhanced cleaning arrangements
Requiring all visitors to “book” in advance
Collecting and retaining contact information for all visitors, to support Test and Protect activity if necessary
We have developed detailed guidance for members and volunteers, which set out clearly what we expect of them before, during and after visits to Studio 132. These guidelines are available here.
The booking system we are using can be found here.
