About us

Forfar Dramatic Society (FDS) is a local theatre group presenting live performances for people in Forfar and the surrounding area. The society was formed in 1930 and since then has produced more than 200 full-length and one-act plays for presentation in Forfar and as part of local drama festivals.

The Society's calendar generally revolves around the production of 2 full length plays (in May and November). In addition, FDS produce 1 or 2 one-act plays (in February/March) which are either performed in house or as part of the SCDA's one-act play festival.

Forfar Dramatic Society's regular club night takes place on Tuesday evenings (usually from 7.30pm) from August-May at the Society's club-rooms.

Senior club £25 
Senior club (aged 16-18) £10
Youth Theatre  £10 membership + £3 per week
